In 2004 the choir was awarded the high title “Exemplary children's collective” and given the status of choir school. Today in the choir school of boys and youths “Debut” there are more than 940 children at the age from 4 to 20 years, and 10 choirs.

About us

Boys Choirs is an old tradition of Russian vocal culture.

Traditions are preserved today.

In 1997/1998 school year on the initiative of Yastrebova Alla Olegovna - the President of ROO “Creative friendship - the bridge of friendship”, the honourable worker of the general education of Russia, laureate of reward “Grant Moscow” - on the base of the secondary school № 644 of North Western training region was organized the regional chorus of boys “Debut”, which in short time became one of the most promising and professionally competent choir associations of the capital.

The choir began from 21 boys.

Today in the choir school of boys and youths “Debut” there are more than 300 children at the age from 4 to 18 years, and 7 choirs. Children conquered the love of listeners and the acknowledgement of professionals.

In 2004 the choir was awarded the high title “Exemplary children's collective” and given the status of choir school, in the same year the department of girls and the pop studio “Rodniki” were opened. In 2007 the ensemble of folk instruments is organized.

A.O. Yastrebova made a group of 60 remarkable teachers, who achieved pedagogical and creative success.

“Young debutants” are real professionals. Thanks to their professionalism the choir repeatedly became the laureate of the first degree and “Grand Prix” at many All-Russian and international competitions.

Mischievous folk songs, spiritual melodies, original pieces of music of contemporary composers, complex musical patterns of secular classics all of them are subjected to their clean voices. And the inspiration of small singers is the guarantee of the success “Debut”. Indeed, inspiration is the basis of craftsmanship.

Numerous concerts, trips, new acquaintances, interesting excursions and leisure activities - all this fills the life of children by special sense and significance.

All the studies in the choir school are free.

The Choir School of boys and younth "Debut" declares a set of boys at the age from 5th years old and more (without listening). The Choir School works with the program of musical school.
